Sound Recorder PCM is soooo good especially for lav mic recording + it records with the screen off + it exports to .wav + its completely raw and does not have any noise suppression like lexis audio editor. 10/10 would recommend. I got the pro version btw the free is limited to 10 mins. But it saved me €197.60 since it only costs €2.40 and lav mic transmitters cost like €200

Lets you record what the microphone hears. Some inbuilt audio processing absolutely ruins the sound on my phone (moto g72) when recording any other way.

I loved this application; it is a pure sound recorder one can find But there is one difficulty, that is to copy the files directly to my computer, I can't access the files directly via usb as the files are located in the root directory (data folder) of the phone, if it were stored in sdcard directory it would be a hell lot easier, Now I am having to select multiple files one by one (no select all option) and move them to my local files' directory in phone and then can copy to PC via USB

It was a good app while I had any recordings made with it. Unfortunately, this app forces a secret folder for files that doesn't get picked up by any backup software. Make sure to go through all your hundreds of files and manually copy them one by one (can't even do multiple at once) if you're using this app, or you might lose gigabytes of audio like I did. Why not make this optional? Why wouldn't I want to see my recordings with other apps? Why can't I set the folder myself?

No matter which microphone setting I try, it records the exact same audio on both the left and right track. I chose this app because it is supposed to record in stereo, but it doesn't do that.

Impossibile to find where the recorded files are, but do you test an app before publishing? Do you think is normal there isn't the recorded file straight there after recording?
It used to be an excellent app, but now it severely lags and crashes all the time. I tried reinstalling it but to no avail. Still lags to the point of being unusable, it literally takes 5-7 seconds for it to react to any input. I am very disappointed
