The best Sudoku I've seen This Sudoku is great! It has an option to fill in pencil marks automatically, which is a tedious and error-prone procedure. As a result, it allows you to attempt much more challenging Sudoku. It can tell you which strategies are needed to solve the puzzle, and you can ask it to solve the puzzle step by step. For each step, it names and explains the strategy. Using it, I learned how to use those strategies, allowing me to attack much harder Sudoku. Finally, this app is free and has no ads!

This sudoku game has it all. The ability to capture a game from a newspaper or book. Then it generates the possibilities and allows you to edit them. If you have no external source of puzzles it will generate one. It has a step-by-step solver, but it always starts from the same point no matter how many edits you have made. The solver has taught me new ways to solve a sudoku. All in all, this is a *great* app!

Gameplay does not work. Unable to consistently create or consistently erase pencil marks in automatic or in manual mode. Automatic pencil mode does not consistently unmask when setting a cell to a final number. Attempting to do number recognition on a captured photo of a puzzle hung app. Would not recommend.

Some improvement - Feedback Would like to be able to key in my own pencil marking after the sudoku puzzle has been captured...NO Provision in your app, the only have auto and manual pencil, which make the board very cluttered... I need to be able to do by myself...also not able to capture sudoku puzzle from photo pic in gallery Photos...also NO Provision on this...even though spec says it was able...pls correct me if I am wrong.

Black screen and frozen phone. I installed this on a Motorola Milestone (android 2.1) On starting the app my phone shows black screen and locks up.
