Predatory payment system that takes and takes from you. You have to pay to simply message tutors. Plenty of other reviews on reddit will tell you the same. Lots of other language apps out there, avoid this one.

My review is strictly around the app and super prof themselves as a business, and nothing to do with the fantastic teachers you may find in super prof Please be super careful using Super prof, when you sign up, they automatically enroll you in an expensive subscription service with no warning. The app is quite buggy, sometimes messages won't be sent, crashes are fairly frequent. So far the teachers I have found within the app are fantastic.

Honestly one of the most frustrating platforms I’ve ever used. The setup feels designed to extract money upfront. You’re pushed into paying before you even know if a tutor will respond. That's a major red flag. Pricing is unclear, profiles seem outdated, and responses are inconsistent. The whole experience is inefficient and time-wasting. You spend more time dealing with this than actually learning. There are far better and cheaper alternatives. I wouldn’t recommend investing money here at all.
