Super prof is an excellent platform for both learning and teaching. It connects students, parents, and teachers, creating valuable opportunities for quality learning and professional teaching experiences. Thank you, Super prof, for making these meaningful connections possible!

Much better than the website. Just annoying when there's updates, which is frequently so far.
★★★★☆Ginger Day· Sep 21, 2026
Seems to be a reliable source for independent teachers offering private lessons. I do not like that they force you to give a free lesson, and you don't get payment in advance for lesson packs.

Jawed is an excellent tutor. He is patient, knowledgeable, and explains concepts clearly. He is also very supportive and makes sure the student understands before moving on.

When I went to contact a tutor it made me put in my card details but said "no money would be debited unless the tutor accepts your request" and yet they immediately charged me £39 - not a hold, the money left my account. It was also not clearly explained in that flow what that money buys you and the fact that it's an ongoing subscription. Also, when that tutor rejected my request the app automatically sent requests to a dozen other tutors on my behalf without my permission. Very untrustworthy

Predatory payment system that takes and takes from you. You have to pay to simply message tutors. Plenty of other reviews on reddit will tell you the same. Lots of other language apps out there, avoid this one.

My review is strictly around the app and super prof themselves as a business, and nothing to do with the fantastic teachers you may find in super prof Please be super careful using Super prof, when you sign up, they automatically enroll you in an expensive subscription service with no warning. The app is quite buggy, sometimes messages won't be sent, crashes are fairly frequent. So far the teachers I have found within the app are fantastic.

Honestly one of the most frustrating platforms I’ve ever used. The setup feels designed to extract money upfront. You’re pushed into paying before you even know if a tutor will respond. That's a major red flag. Pricing is unclear, profiles seem outdated, and responses are inconsistent. The whole experience is inefficient and time-wasting. You spend more time dealing with this than actually learning. There are far better and cheaper alternatives. I wouldn’t recommend investing money here at all.
