Superwhisper - AI Dictation

Easily transform voice notes into any format. Go for a walk, think aloud, and have your notes summarized. Or write a long, professional email from a single spoken sentence.

With Superwhisper, you write up to 5x faster using your voice. Accurate transcription, clean punctuation, and AI formatting.

HOW IT WORKS
Hold to record. Release to paste. Your words come out as polished text in the app you're using, without replacing your existing keyboard.

USE IT FOR
- Messages in ChatGPT, Slack, WhatsApp, Gmail, Notes, and other apps.
- Long-form writing that starts as a five-minute ramble.
- Voice notes, professional emails, and technical prompts.

ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE DISCLOSURE

Superwhisper uses Android’s AccessibilityService API to support voice dictation in other apps while you keep using your existing keyboard.

The accessibility service is used to:
- Identify the active app and focused text field so your dictated text is inserted in the right place.
- Detect keyboard visibility and text field focus to show or hide the floating dictation button.
- Read existing text in the focused field to preserve it and add appropriate spacing when inserting your dictation.
- Identify password and PIN fields so Superwhisper can hide the dictation button and prevent insertion into those fields.

You choose whether to enable the accessibility service. You can disable accessibility access at any time in Android settings and continue recording within Superwhisper.
