We purchased these lights right before the beginning of the new year to celebrate Christmas and the New Year, and we love them compared to more expensive options we don't regret it one bit. We were skeptical at fist but once everything was up and running we had a great experience with these lights, to us, it outperforms professionally installed options. We love the fact we can control the form anywhere. Thanks for a solid product for the price.

I've had other lighting systems None of them come close to the Surplice system. The ease of operation is incredible. The selection of lighting formats, awesome. The price is reasonable. If you're looking for a reliable and enjoyable lighting experience, Surplice is your ticket.

This app, together with the In vital lamp, works very poorly. It randomly changes colors and brightness. The In vital company does not acknowledge the issue and is violating EU consumer protection law.

The rope lights are pretty basic and work great with included remote control. The app, however, is pretty much useless. The app interface is very similar to other apps (Feit & Geena), but is much less friendly. There isn't any way to actually customize the lights, just basically selecting from some they have provided. I deleted the app and will just use the provided remote. I definitely do NOT recommend this app. Does not have support for Halloween colors (purple & orange combos) in the app.

The app is pretty terrible. If a light somehow gets disconnected from the Wi-Fi after it was working fine for days you have to pretty much set the entire light up from scratch again. The network diagnostic scan is just a shoulder shrug telling you to reset everything so that feature is useless. They even tell you if you want to change the Wi-Fi it's connected to the only way is to remove the device and re set everything all over again. It's best to use a remote and avoid the app
