Great idle time waster. But I have a bug on v.1.7.18 at the loading screen saying "internet connection required" I am connected to the internet (obviously) and there isn't an update available. Can't get into the game, worried it's discontinued.

Great idle game, based on previous minimalistic swarm simulator game on web/pc, which got traction on Congregate. No flashy, annoying ads. There are some buyable, but nothing deal breaking. Game design is very clean and minimalistic. You can easily not play it for some time, and the game keeps producing while offline. While simple, there is plenty to calculate and improve in your strategy, with huge effects.

I actually love the original web-version swarm simulator - it was nice, clean and satisfying. Very enjoyable idle game. But this one in app is horrible! Like it's probably the same in terms of math and how the progress goes, but it's intrusive with annoying tutorial that can't be skipped and messy and hard to look at your progress. I actually still enjoy web version, but I deleted this one because this design makes this game unplayable. Just play the web version of it - it's much better.

I had a save file since 2017, but it's gone now, as are my in-app purchases. Not the potions, but the combat pack, the no ads pack, the extra gold bugs pack, all gone. Like another reviewer said, a complete waste of time.

It is terribly boring during a prestige in the middle, you should introduce specific missions or statistical based achievements that offer small rewards for gaining certain milestones or mini-games of some sort, the options really are limitless and shouldn't be too difficult to implement. I am thinking of uninstalling simply because of this boredom, either that or make it quicker to progress and add more of the same to the game as it is now or make gaining rewards quicker. Very bored.
