Swell Scope - the surf forecast app with no surf spots. Instead, you add your own custom surf breaks by dropping a pin anywhere in the world.
Use first-of-their kind tools to setup the exposure of your spot in just a few seconds.
Then jump into beautiful charts, animations, and visuals that show you the raw forecast data from the world’s premier weather models.
After your session, auto-import the conditions into your journal and add your own detailed ratings for things like breaking-wave shape and surface cleanliness.
Next time the conditions are similar, you’ll see your own ratings alongside the raw forecast data.
Everything is designed so that you can make the call yourself, instead of relying on mysterious predictions and algorithms.

Really loving it so far. Haven't come across anything I would describe as bugs or glitches. Easy to use and data seems quite accurate. My one suggestion would be if your list of surf breaks could have some sort of flag for what the overall conditions are, so you can see the basic assessment at a glance rather than having to open each individual break to view that. You could then open the break to view more in depth data. Or the ability to click next and previous when viewing a break.

Visual representation of swell and wind is very helpful. Also being able to set conditions for good waves at each spot in watch list is really good

Looked interesting, and so I started using it to log sessions at my local break. I didn't like the way I was supposed to enter the data for each session, it felt patronizing... maybe it's meant for surfers who don't know how to read a swell chart. Anyway, after a month (and maybe 5 or 6 sessions) my free month ended, and I thought that was way too soon... after all the app is supposed to learn about my surfing habits and preferences, and that's not going to happen in a single month.
