Switchbook - Keyboard Journal

Switchbook is the pocket home for your whole mechanical keyboard hobby. Catalog every board, switch, and keycap set you own, plan your next build from what's already in the drawer, and never lose track of a group-buy again — all offline, with a fair one-time unlock and no subscription.

Built by an enthusiast, for enthusiasts. Switchbook uses keyboard-native fields instead of a generic inventory app, so you log the things that actually matter: layout, case material, mounting style, switch type and spring weight, keycap profile and colorway.

COLLECTION
• Keyboards — layout, case, plate, mounting, stabilizers, the switches & caps on the build, photos and notes
• Switches — type, actuation & bottom-out force, travel, stem, lube and film status, quantity and cost
• Keycaps — profile, material, legends, colorway and which kits you own
• Parts — stabs, plates, foam, cables and the rest
• A clean photo grid for everything you own

BUILD PLANNER (Pro)
• Assemble a planned build from owned or wishlisted parts
• Live cost rollup: total, already-owned, and still-to-buy
• A completeness bar so you know when a build is ready
• Mark it "built" to turn the plan into a real keyboard in your collection

GROUP-BUY TRACKER
• Track vendor, item, cost, order date, status and ETA
• Grouped by status (interest check → live → in production → shipping → received)
• Optional check-in reminders so a six-month GB never slips your mind

BUILT-IN REFERENCE
• A spec catalog of popular switches — forces, travel, stem and pins
• Keycap profile guide and brand/colorway lists
• Quick-fill a new switch straight from the catalog

WISHLIST
• Stash the boards, switches and sets you're eyeing, with a rough price and a link

YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS
• Fully offline — no account, no sign-in, no servers
