Great for outdoor tours. Most reliable and detailed maps. List of hikes, tours etc. could be more complete. Paid version allows you to design own tours and offline maps - worth the extra costs.

This app is unquestionably essential for everyone who likes to do outdoor sports in Switzerland. It contains no ads which is a huge plus. A functional improvement could be achieved by caching the map data at the most recent position (and its surrounding) in order to speed up the app itself as well as to temporarily provide map data in areas without network coverage.

Love the app, I use it for almost all of my hiking and snowshoe outings

I liked the old interface web interface much more than the new one. I don't think it makes sense to have the tour information in a horizontal panel along the bottom. When I expand the tour panel on my 16:9 monitor, it leaves me with just a very narrow horizontal view on the map. This makes drawing tours difficult (especially north-south routes). I liked the old interface, where the information on the tour was in a vertical panel on the left side, which left a larger, more square view of the map

Doesn't link to Google maps. Doesn't let you download a gpx file. Doesn't let you set start and end points. Doesn't route plan. Basically just a glorified JPEG of a map of Switzerland...

+ hiking routes became thinner (higher res) and finally have vengeful red/blue color instead of hardly visible and senseless green. - map became slow. - UI/UX/usability became worse (too many hanging elements disturbing the map view, infinity screen irritates, etc.) - favorite routes from previous version lost Etc. Developers, contact me for detailed report.
