Not sure what people are expecting. The bulbs are about 2 dollars CAD each, and they work over Bluetooth, so obviously if you lose connection you can't control them through the app. However turning the lights off/on sets them to whatever "on" setting they had before losing power, so you only need the app if you want to change colors, intensity, or turn the light off/on without your switch, like from bed. Works perfectly for those scenarios.

App is alright, I've been using it for about a year now with my sylvania smart+ bulbs. Been using mostly older sylvania products before then like the discontinued Lifeline bulbs and some of their ceramic starters before I even considered using the LED stuff they have. Had problems with this in the beginning, but once you figure it out it's a lot easier than one would think. You can even use images in your photo library to get the desired colors you want.

Cannot sign up and can not connect any sylvania light bulbs or even Alexa device.

Is there no way to connect google home to this app anymore? There is no way to sign up for an account on the app. Please direct me to the website where I can sign up for an account. I want to link my Google home to the app to control my Bluetooth bulb remotely.
