“T-Rex Time Machine” is a 170,000 word interactive adventure novel by Rosemary Claire Smith, where your choices control the story. It's entirely text-based—without graphics or sound effects—and fueled by the vast, unstoppable power of your imagination.
When you successfully convert your Land Rover into a working time machine, you set your sights on traveling to the age of the Tyrannosaurus rex, triceratops, and pterosaur where you'll study dinosaurs and film a thrilling documentary. The only problem is the competition: your rival and enemy Darien Vance has claimed your work for his own, accused you of plagiarism, and had you kicked out of graduate school. When you travel back in time, you'll have to prove you got there first, redeem your good name, and make it home safely.

Free content is really excellent: brilliant premise, smart, well-written. Suffers a bit from choices that don't seem to have much effect. Still, it's one I would think about buying. Comes with a real baby hadrosaur, right?

This game doesn't have the best storyline, imagery, character development, nor the romantic aspects (what is up with Vance!?) But to be fair, this is a free game. There's an awesome T. rex cover art! There are small details everywhere, as long as you look closely! There are plenty of achievements to hunt down as well! Overall, I did end up enjoying this short adventure, although, it did leave me a bit unsatisfied. I can see that the author placed a fair amount of effort, hence the five stars.

Loved the game, but I can't pay money to get the full game. I love all your games, but I can't play the whole thing! This makes me sad. I know you need to make money, but I don't have any! I loved Choice Of the Dragon because I didn't have to pay money. Make more games like that please. Love these games so much.

Pretty nice, I'd say. Stumbled upon it by accident, I was searching for Trials of the Thief-Taker. I don't regret buying it, so far it's been, as I said, pretty nice. I was worried you guys had started to lower the quality, but hey! Proved me wrong.

This is a choosey your own adventure in name only. Choices do not matter because the outcome of events is the same. No matter your cho noice you will fail because the principle believes your cheating. That's it, no sticking to his guns when a video goes viral, no proving he's corrupt when he sides with the man's father, just a simple your expelled cause you cheated. Choices don't matter because later choices ignore your earlier choices for example I chose to bring a go pro camera, pistol with blanks, and some first aid to the nesting site of some Dino. Everything else had to be left behind. Only apparently they forgot this in their writing as suddenly I had a tripod, fully loaded gun, and everything else under the sun. So this is an awful game in respect to choices. But it's not awful otherwise, though definitely not good either. Just another in a long line of disappointing games like choice of robots. Ultimately you suck at writing LLC.

The writing and the characters felt weak and lacking. The story is also quite short. I managed to get a good ending and finished reading in less than an hour for my first play through. There is a bug that a dead character came back to life.
