Tachy: Net Speed Meter

See your internet speed in the status bar, all the time.

Tachy shows your current download and upload speed as a small number next to the clock, updated every second. Pull down the notification to see download and upload separately, plus how much Wi-Fi and mobile data you've used today. It's built for current Android (14, 15 and 16) and has no ads.

SPEED METER
• Live net speed in the status bar, legible at a glance
• Download and upload speeds in the notification
• Quick Settings tile to turn it on and off
• Starts again after a restart if you want it to
• Pauses completely while the screen is off, so it doesn't drain your battery

DATA USAGE
• Today's Wi-Fi and mobile data
• The last 7 days, day by day
• Uses Android's own data counters, so it counts every app, even with the meter off

TACHY PRO (ONE PAYMENT)
• 30 days of history and your month so far
• Mobile data cap alert at 90% and 100%, with your own billing day
• Speeds in bits per second (Mbps) like a broadband speed test
• Choose what the status-bar icon shows: total, download or upload

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No ads, no account, no analytics. Tachy never sends anything anywhere: your usage stays on your phone.

Tachy needs usage access to read data usage (Android asks you to switch it on in Settings) and notifications to show the speed in the status bar.
