Waaay more difficult than v1. You don't get any bonuses for harder. Versions of levels of the same stage. I've been barely scratching by on "easy" and then doing the."challenge" stages as they come. Really missing those radar towers, .too! Still a really good game. A bit too challenging for the rewards, tho. Wish they'd had a middle-tier between the 2. Cuz this game is set on HARD. STILL 4/5* Do check out their Death Rover. It's not exciting but it's kinda fun.

I came to Tactical War 2 after finishing Tactical War 1 with all 3-star levels and really enjoyed it. Early Hardcore feels well-balanced and challenging. Excited to continue. Great visuals, animations, like targeting specific enemies. Miss troop destruction sound. Upgrade/sell icons visible before unlocking, should be grayed out. Hardcore seems “impossible” in reviews—actually doable or exaggerated? 😂 Need cross-device sync.

I played the first version of this game several times over and thoroughly enjoyed it, however this version is just way to hard. Even on easy mode I can't progress and as others have said, the addition of aircraft just is pointless. I paid to remove adds, but I regret that now. I can't do level 10 on easy, there is no strategy that works. I am so done with this game!!!!!!

So certain levels are simply not beatable. EX. on hardcore, lvl 17 steel challenge, it's impossible for me. I've upgraded everything but can't beat it. I've even looked at a walkthrough, which is more frustrating. On the walkthrough, it takes two shots from the snipers to destroy the trucks on the first level, but for me, it takes three. Let me say again that I have upgraded the snipers fully and the freeze towers fully (the only two towers used in this level). Why is there a difference?!? Pixel 9

First game is five stars. This is one star. So difficult. You can't win without spending massive resources.
