Description
TAZOO is an augmented reality app (AR) that combines storytelling, nostalgia, and local communities. The project reconstructs the Tel Aviv Zoo, a beloved zoo in the center of the city, that operated between 1938-1980 and is based on the stories of the local community. The Zoo re-creation is developed using location-based AR technology. Through this technology, visitors in the garden are able to envision the zoo as it once was superimposed on the actual garden via a mobile interface - allowing the user to fuse the past, present, and future.
So come on! download the app, pick up a set of earphones, and come visit us at the Gan Ha'ir Garden in Tel Aviv.
To experience the app, you must scan through the app the designated signs scattered in the Gan Ha'ir Garden in Tel Aviv.

Very buggy. Tried using it and as soon as the animals starts to appear, the video freezes, and you can't see anything. Audio plays normally but video useless right now. Great concept, though.
