Works fine Bought it on clearance. So my expectations weren't high. Got home connected it in seconds. Works perfectly fine. Never tried to use the app away from home because i shut my lights off before i leave. Half the time I forget about the app anyways. As a novelty the lights are pretty cool. Ten years ago things like this didnt exist to the average consumer. Its really cool to be able to control your light using your phone.

Like the setting sunrise and sunset, not great on looks but much better then Wink app. Nexus 7 & Moto G. 1 star less for looks. Updated 10/02/15 get going TCP fixe the logging issues and make it faster. ONE star gone from FOUR , it really is getting ridiculous connection issues. Nov 18/15 Well I guess it deserves 2 more stars. It has been flawless for the last few months, still very generic app huggly actually I guess TCP does not care about their Company image otherwise they would have a better app. TCP Lighting on June 30 2016 stopped supporting their web connections thru PC or Mobile what a joke, lights no longer available in Canada Home Depot stopped carrying them. So I am stuck with 20 bulb connections that I will not be able to replace or control my from cell when travelling.. The app and the bulbs have been working with no interruptions for about a year RIP TCP 5 stars, this will teach me to stay away from any Internet of Things until there are standards. There should be some control with these users posting one star it is obvious they were clueless on setting up their system.
★★☆☆☆
No longer supported by manufacturer The company has ended support for the cloud control features of these lights. The app no longer works when you are outside your home.

Works great at home, but can't log in remotely to view or control lights. Saw same complaints from other people. Reason I bought was to be able to control when out-of-town. Have to look for other option. Anyone one know of other brand bulbs that are WIFI controlled>>>
★★☆☆☆
The company suddenly stopped the ability to control their TCP lighting lights over the internet. Beyond not having the ability to do that, the fact that the company would suddenly discontinue the function for all of us who had bought their product for that capability shows a total disregard for consumers. The company has done all of us a disservice.
