Description

The TalkingPoints Teacher app helps teachers reach all family members and guardians, regardless of language, via text messages in 150+ languages. Our translation is done by a combination of human translators and machines, allowing for seamless communication with all of your families.

TalkingPoints helps teachers
• Communicate with non-English speaking family members through automatic 2-way translation
• Quickly send messages to one family member, a group of family members or to the whole class
• Keep their cell phone numbers private by sending text messages through the app
• Attach pictures, videos, polls, and files to text messages to share what students are learning in school
• Preschedule messages to go out when families are available to read them

“Teachers have busy schedules and don’t have a lot of time to learn how to use a new tool, but what I want other educators to know is how easy it is to communicate with parents through TalkingPoints. I love it and use it everyday!” - Ms. Cardenas, ESL teacher

Comments on TEACHERS | TalkingPoints for Android

★★★★★ Sherry Barnette · Sep 1, 2021

Drastically increased parent communication with families speaking Spanish at home. Thank you!!!

★★★★★ Kate Heier · Nov 11, 2021

Talking Points is a great way to communicate with the parents of my students. I love the translation feature.

★★★★★ Lily · Feb 15, 2021

Talking Points works to reach my Spanish-speaking students and translates quicker than trying to do it with Google Translate and SMS separately.

★☆☆☆☆ Kati Lee Gates · Nov 2, 2021

It won't let me log in on my phone/app with my school G account, which is the email I use for it. When I tried to just use my browser to log in it directs me to the app, that won't let me sign in.

★★☆☆☆ Eric Armitage · Jan 24, 2024

Good for translating. I constantly miss messages due to no notifications all of a sudden. I now have to check the app multiple times a day instead of getting notified when I have a message. Makes me look kind of foolish with my parents. Heads up!
