Teleprompter: Read & Record

A teleprompter and video recorder in one: your script scrolls over the live camera while you record, so you can read naturally and still look straight down the lens.

Reading from notes beside the phone makes your eyes wander. Memorising a script costs you take after take. Teleprompter: Read & Record puts the words where the camera already is, so you get it right sooner and sound like yourself.

⏱️ KNOW HOW LONG IT WILL RUN — BEFORE YOU RECORD
Set your scroll speed in words per minute and the app tells you exactly how long your script will take. No vague 1–10 slider. You see "1 min 14 sec at 125 wpm" while you write, and again on the camera screen, so your video fits the length you need on the first attempt.

🎬 EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO SHOOT
• An autocue and video recorder in one — no switching between apps mid-take
• Adjust pace in wpm, and change it mid-take if you speed up
• Countdown before recording, so you can set your eyeline
• Mirror mode for teleprompter glass and beam-splitter rigs
• Move the text to the top, middle or bottom of the screen
• Set text size and line spacing to suit your distance from the phone
• Framing grid and front/rear camera switch
• Pause and resume in the middle of a take

📄 BRING IN A SCRIPT YOU ALREADY WROTE
• Import TXT, DOCX, PDF and RTF files
• Open documents straight from Google Drive or your file manager
• Paste from the clipboard, or type in the built-in editor
• Live word count and runtime estimate as you type
• Rename, duplicate and delete scripts in your library

✂️ FINISH THE VIDEO WITHOUT LEAVING THE APP
• Watch your take back before you keep it
• Trim the start and end, mute the audio, or rotate the picture
• Retake instantly if it did not land
• Save to your gallery under Movies, then share anywhere

🔓 NO SUBSCRIPTION. NO WATERMARK. NO TIME LIMIT.
Plenty of prompters cap you at a minute, stamp a logo on your footage, or ask for card details before you have recorded anything. This one does not. Record for as long as you like, keep the full quality your camera gives you, and share the file without a badge on it.

✅ HONEST ABOUT QUALITY
The resolution shown on the camera screen is the one you will actually get. Many phones cannot record at the same quality on the front camera as the rear, so the app reports what your selected lens truly supports instead of promising more.

👤 WHO IT IS FOR
Content creators filming to camera. Teachers recording lessons. Founders shooting product updates. Job seekers practising an interview answer. Anyone presenting to a phone who wants to sound prepared rather than rehearsed — from a first piece to camera to a weekly channel.

⚙️ THE SMALL THINGS THAT MATTER
• Works fully offline — no internet needed to write or record
• No account, no sign-up, no email
• The screen stays awake while you read
• Recording keeps going if you switch apps or take a call
• Follows your system light or dark theme
• Videos library shows how much space you are using, and lets you delete takes to free it up

🔒 YOUR SCRIPTS AND VIDEOS STAY ON YOUR DEVICE
Camera and microphone permissions are used only to record, and only while you are recording. Your videos are written straight to your own storage, where your gallery and other apps can reach them. Nothing is uploaded, there is no account to create, and the app works with no connection at all.

Write it, read it, record it. Download Teleprompter: Read & Record and shoot your next video without memorising a word.
