Description
TetherFuseNet uses a Foreground Service to create a long-running Wi-Fi Direct Network for other Connected Devices.
• What
Share your Android device's Internet connection with other devices without needing Root.
You will need at least one Android device with normal access to the Internet, either via Wi-Fi, or a mobile Data plan.
TetherFuseNet works by creating a Wi-Fi Direct legacy group and an HTTP proxy server. Other devices can connect to the broadcasted Wi-Fi network, and connect to the Internet by setting the proxy server settings to the server created by TetherFuseNet. You do not need a Hotspot data plan to use TetherFuseNet, but the app works best with "unlimited" data plans.
• TetherFuseNet may be for you if:
You want to share your Android's Wi-Fi or Mobile Data You have an Unlimited Data and a Hotspot plan from your Carrier, but Hotspot has a data cap You have an Unlimited Data and a Hotspot plan from your Carrier, but Hotspot has throttling You do not have a mobile Hotspot plan You wish to create a LAN between devices Your home router has reached the device connection limit
• How
TetherFuseNet uses a Foreground Service to create a long-running Wi-Fi Direct Network that other devices can connect to. Connected devices can exchange network data between each other. The user is in full control of this Foreground Service and can explicitly choose when to turn it on and off.
TetherFuseNet is still a work in progress and not everything will work. For example, using the app to get an open NAT type on consoles is currently not possible. Using TetherFuseNet for certain online apps, chat apps, video apps, and gaming apps is currently not possible. Some services such as email may be unavailable. General "normal" internet browsing should work fine - however, it is dependent on the speed and availability of your Android device's internet connection.

It's great it's free there's. No ads work great for me fine. Use it on visible they slow the hotspot to like 5mb a sec on the cheap plan does like 22 when testing on the expensive one. With this it does like 300 so yeah 29 bucks a month for 300mb only prob is Linux .ost have only auto config but if you put it in the Firefox browser proxy it works but if you fire up windows in VirtualBox and put the setting as it says manual style works. So need to make an auto config file and I don't know how

This! Well done Dev!! Anyone having difficulty, don't give up! Take a break, have a coffee, and just read through every word on each tab in the app. The setup tab will autopopulate once you start it up going through options on first two tabs. Anyways, reading carefully, which I wasn't after a month I was able to set up ad-hoc Wi-Fi direct AP and Wi-Fi debug/adb. Still No data share until reread fine print, manual add ip and port on the connecting devices Wi-Fi details. First time the connection shows too

This is a very straight forward app for tethering. However, even after trying several variations of settings on 2 different phones, I was unable to connect to the Internet. My laptop connected to the app's Wi-Fi network, but there was no Internet access. That is disappointing since my plan only allows 10gb of regular returning out of my unlimited data.

Recent updates broke it. If screen off will drop connection. Phone setup to allow app to run in background. No other changes. App is useless now unless you want burn in on phone screen from never turning off.
