App does what it is supposed to and handles large files well. I'd give it 5 stars except for one issue, when editing only a basic keyboard is shown instead of my normal Gboard. Every other app displays the full Gboard including extra rows and autocorrect, this just shows a basic keyboard allowing entry of letters, numbers and symbols without autocorrect, typing gestures etc. if this were addressed it would be perfect for text file editing.

This little app is the only reasonable text editor I could find that supports large files, runs on a newer phone, and uses an ordinary Android edit text widget to support native selection and Gboard cursor control like you'd expect. I don't know why that's so hard!

Primarily got the app because it requires only storage permissions and nothing else which I really like. As of right now the app is not functioning properly. I cannot save a file, as a message comes up" failed to save file, system error". I cannot create a folder as it tells me the "folder already exist". Also, the app is not recognized as a txt editor on my GalaxyS10, meaning I cannot open txt files with it. It has no access to sd card. Would be an excellent app for $0.99 if it actually works.

Looks like I can't create new lines. Otherwise, looks great. I don't mind that the scroll g is a bit choppy, although that could be better, too. EDIT: Using Smart Keyboard Pro
