It's exactly what it says. Very simple and basic, reads text files and that's it. No ads or annoying pop-ups like the fancier aps. Just does the thing I want to do.

I needed a simple app to view txt files in the downloads' folder. Tried a couple other apps and this was the first that worked. Also, it's rare to find a free app without ads. Only issue I have that this is the free version which has filed size limit. But it does not say what the limit is. Also, it's a putty that dark mode is supported by the pro version only.

Back in year 21 I tried this app And today in year 2024 they still have NOT fixed the issue with the font. I follow their instructions but none of them work. The latin letter ñ doesn't display properly instead a diamond shape appears. I will glady buy their proversion but only if they fix the bugs but 3 years and still not fix ? I believe that has been more than sufficient time to fix it. But I guess the developer doesn't care. Good thing there other apps that really listen and fix bugs.

Useless - can't even open a 18mb txt file because it's 'too large'. Grow up, it's 2026, you should be able to handle a few megabytes.
