Text911 helps you prepare SMS messages with an emergency category, your own text and your latest available GPS coordinates.

PREPARE A MESSAGE
Use preset buttons for fire, accident, police or medical situations, or write a custom message. Add trusted contacts and review the message before sending.

LOCATION WHILE YOU USE THE APP
Location updates run only while the app is active and stop when it is inactive or in the background. If permission is denied or a GPS fix is unavailable, the app remains usable and shows that location is unavailable. Always check the location included in your message.

LOCAL CONTROLS
Manage emergency contacts, review a local action history and use an optional password lock.

Sending behavior depends on messaging permissions and your device. Opening a composer or recording an action in History does not confirm message delivery. SMS requires cellular service, and text-to-911 availability varies by area. Call 911 when you can; text when you cannot. Do not send test messages to emergency services.

No account or subscription is required. This independently operated app is not associated with a government agency or emergency dispatch service.
