This is a 4-Star App for two reasons: it has some small bugs (which are being worked on by the team seen as replies) and delivers local news. It is an easy way to read articles from the Observer on a variety of devices. Notifications still fail to open the article. I would ask that on some level that audio playback of the articles be added. Either with an API to hook the Google Assistant or through your own text-to-audio implementation, so I can listen to articles in the background. Thank you!

Glitchy unsatisfying experience. I recently re-subscribed to the Observer. This app is how I will read it. When clicking on the daily edition, more often than not, this app freezes up. Annoying.

I appreciate the opportunity to support and access the local news with the app. However, there are a lot of bugs that make this app frustrating to use. (1) There is not a search feature to locate specific articles, (2) The share link only provides the associated image not the entire article, (3) When I click on references to previous articles, it takes me back to the sign-in page, & (4) When I attempt to sign in to read the articles, it doesn't allow me to select the correct Google account.

Ever since the last update on August 16 the app will not open. All I get is a white page with the blue words "the Charlotte observer ". Your single robotic response to all complaints is no help at all. Fix the damn app.
