The Daily Office: BCP 2019

Pray Morning, Midday, Evening, and Compline (bedtime) prayer from the Book of Common Prayer (2019), every day, wherever you are. The Daily Office sets out each office on one page, in order: no flipping between sections, no looking up readings in the lectionary, no rubrics to decode.

Join Christians around the world in the pattern of daily prayer the Church has kept since its earliest days.

WHAT'S INSIDE
• Morning Prayer, Midday Prayer, Evening Prayer, and Compline for every day of the year
• Family Prayer: shorter devotions in the same pattern, for households with children
• The day's readings on their own, for Morning and Evening Prayer and the Holy Eucharist
• The whole Psalter, searchable and arranged by topic, in contemporary or traditional language
• Collects for the Christian year, the offices, and many occasions
• The Great Litany
• A calendar of the Christian year, with every feast, fast, and commemoration in its liturgical color
• Lives of the saints, with traditions and further reading for each commemoration

PRAY ALONG WITH AUDIO
Every office can be read aloud, with each word highlighted as it is spoken. Audio keeps playing with your screen locked, and you can pause, skip, and scrub from the lock screen or your headphones.

BOOK VIEW
Pray an office one page at a time, turning the pages like a printed prayer book, with nothing else on the screen.

FAITHFUL TO THE BOOK
The Daily Office carefully follows the text, calendar, and rubrics of the Book of Common Prayer (2019) of the Anglican Church in North America. It is an independent project, generously supported by Anglican House Publishers, publisher of the 2019 prayer book. It is not a substitute for the printed book, but a faithful companion to it: at home, at work, or on the road.
