The Gardens Between is a single-player adventure-puzzle game about time, memory and friendship.
Best friends Arina and Frendt fall into a series of vibrant, dreamlike island gardens peppered with everyday objects from their childhood. Together they embark on an emotional journey that examines the significance of their friendship: the memories they’ve built, what must be let go, and what should never be left behind.
Lost in a mysterious realm where cause and effect are malleable, the friends find that time flows in all directions. Manipulate time to solve puzzles and reach the apex of each isle. A quick little story that will catch you in your feels. The level design is freaking beautiful, and the puzzles all seem so obvious after you finally figure them out. I got stuck a few times and when I figured it out finally, I was like "wow I feel dumb" 😂. Great game. Could be good to expand on the story or make some more puzzle worlds to conquer.

It's a good concept and definitely different but poorly executed. There's no guidance, no tutorial but there wouldn't be a need for one if you didn't ramp up the difficulty so fast. It didn't "grab" me, and I decided Uninstallation. It gets boring not getting anywhere.

It's beautifully designed and the concept is good...but I got bored playing it. There needed to be more interaction with characters and harder puzzles. The bloom on one of the levels wouldn't give light for the lamp as well. It is what it is. I really wanted to love this game, but it's missing that wow factor.
