The great courses plus has the most wonderful and varied range of courses presented by academics who readily and enthusiastically share their passion for their topics. From ancient history to the latest in science, it's all there, and I have yet to experience a course which is not excellent. Of course, they are all varied and that's right, as each course reflects the style of the presenter. I'm retired now, and I'm very much grateful to experience such a great range of courses.

Satisfies my curiosity and desire to learn a little bit about everything without having to take college courses. I love the huge range of topics on here. I love that you can use video or audio format, so I can still listen even when I'm engaged in something else. You can also download for offline viewing/listening. The subscription is a really good value for all the content you get access to, and the production value is fantastic. There's something for everyone here. 10/10

So. The content is amazing, of course. But this is the worst player app I have ever used, by far. It doesn't remember my place properly (it sometimes jumps back a lecture or two), it doesn't work properly in my car (every few seconds it pauses for a few seconds and then starts back up), it randomly deletes my downloads, and many other problems. Great Courses! You are such a wonderful company! I know that you can do better than this garbage.

Love the content, but the app is terrible. I have a habit of closing the app completely when I have to stop because it will often decide to start playing again on its own, playing hours of lectures to no one. Combine that with the fact it doesn't work with Android Auto, and it becomes pretty inconvenient. Going to go back to using Audible as soon as my subscription is up.
