Description
Play short games to help brain scientists study the psychology and neuroscience of well-being!
Created by scientists at UCL and Yale, this app is a citizen science project taking psychology and neuroscience experiments from the lab to your smartphone.
Every 3-minute game that you finish contributes data to real scientific research about how the brain works. The anonymous surveys help us see what causes well-being and understand mental health conditions like anxiety and depression. Be part of a unique citizen science experiment and help us write the equation for happiness!
Dr Robb Rutledge (Yale Psychology) says: "We all want to know what determines happiness. It’s hard to figure it out! In our games, we ask people about their happiness as they make decisions in different situations. We hope people enjoy our app and help us answer some really important scientific questions!"
This citizen science project was supported by the UK Medical Research Council.

Interesting and informative. I love that the questions are specific and to the point. All the information is super transparent, and it's fun to help while also getting to know yourself better in the process.

Very interesting study. Some fun games and I have seen no ads. Glad I can help contribute to science.

The games are all based on styles of gambling/risk to find how this effects happiness. The games themselves other than being told to earn points there is nothing you gain for earning more or less points and it's not lime you will not be able to play because they want to study you so there's no happiness to be had for me sorry, maybe i just don't have a gambling mind?

Poorly designed game/app. The "science" value here seems minimal at beast as well. Every few rounds you get asked how happy you are and to slide a scale. Why would a simple experiment/game change my happiness that much? Biggest influence on my mood during the game was frustration at how poorly designed it was.
