A great app if you have a bad next door neighbor. I used this app to capture the noise coming from my neighbors house and thankfully the council sorted it out.

If you're serious about capturing neighbor noise, don’t rely on your phone. Mobile microphones are designed to suppress low-frequency sounds like voices and background noise—exactly what you need to record. Instead, install Blue Stacks on a Windows or Mac device and run the Noise App through it. Plug in an external microphone (even a budget streaming mic will do), and configure Blue Stacks to detect it. The result? Clear, high-fidelity recordings that expose the full extent of the intrusion.

The recorder doesn't pick up the incredibly loud music my neighbors are playing. Just getting static. Its 3.30am. How am I meant to build a case when recordings don't work? And apparently I can't bother the police with this. Awful.

Completely useless for trying desperately to record noisy neighbors + their rowdy barking dogs through a single brick party wall. Barely able to hear playback of dogs barking which is incredibly loud + shrill in reality, and no recording whatsoever of other cacophonous racket on linoleum laid on floorboards over a void space which has made the noise transmission into my home like living inside a drum. Housing associations use this app to cul-de-sac legitimate complainants. Also showing GMT not BST

Utterly horrible and useless. Keeps saying it doesn't have permissions. I have given you ALL samsung permissions there is nothing left to give ffs. Please, local authorities, stop forcing us to use this app. It's hell living with noisy neighbors and noise pollution and with this app you've given us extra stress! It doesn't work. I think the council did this knowing it would reduce the amount of complaints they'd receive because the app is so awful. Please help us! I'm losing the will to live.
