The Shadow Crown

The Shadow Crown is a classic text adventure, rebuilt for today. Type your commands, explore the frozen realm of Frostwynd, and uncover the dark power behind the stolen Crown.

TYPE YOUR OWN ADVENTURE
Go north. Talk to the stranger. Attack the goblin. Read the map. There are no menus to tap through. You decide what happens next, one command at a time, just like the great adventure games of the 1980s.

MEET THE CAST
Every major character now has their own portrait. Share a drink with Gareth the innkeeper, barter with Master Goldsworth, have your fortune read by Madame Mystara, and have Master Ironhand forge you something legendary. Seek out Sage Thornwick on the mountain peak, consult the ghostly librarian Erasmus, and find out who the Hooded Stranger really is.

A WORLD WORTH EXPLORING
Wander from the village square to the dark forest, the goblin camp, the ruined library, the catacombs and beyond. Illustrated scenes bring each location to life, and new story artwork marks the big moments of your quest.

FIGHT, SURVIVE, GROW STRONGER
Battle goblins, skeletons and worse. Equip weapons and armour, manage a knapsack with real weight limits, brew potions and level up your hero. Fall in battle, and an ancient shrine may grant you a second chance. Not every danger is one you can fight, though. Stay out of the dark…

PUZZLES AND SECRETS
Decipher ancient tomes, crack hidden codes and piece together clues from the people you meet. Sharp-eyed adventurers will find secrets that most players walk straight past.

BUILT FOR READING ON YOUR PHONE
The story jumps straight to each new scene so you never lose your place, and the keyboard stays out of the way while you read. Your progress saves as you play.
