A serial killer is terrorizing the streets of Victorian London, and private investigator Sydney Emerson has hit a new low between finding lost dogs and receiving alleyway beatings. Probably the best point and click adventure I've ever played (and I've played a lot of them). The only problem is that the game ends just as things are getting good, and Act Two doesn't look like its ever going to be finished. Such a shame.

This game surprised me. I've played other 2D mystery games but this one has something unique about it. It's not easy to explain. Everything from the graphics and sound to the story (it is quite dark hence the name)and especially the humor (like the dream sequence with the fish) all have a certain charm to them. I didn't want to stop playing and then when it did end I felt like a deflated balloon. Great work. Really looking forward to act 2 and beyond...😉

Glitch where I can't open Alice cigarette case, it constantly glitches out and freezes, I would love this game but the glitches make it hard, please fix this so I can play it, without Alice note I cant move further in the game.
