I really love Dr MacArthur's work. I've literally listened to hundreds of his sermons and are so grateful to God for him and Grace to you. About the latest update on the app: I find that when I go to Pastor John's notes and click on a reference verse within the notes, "return to" takes me back to the notes, but if I then press the back button, it returns me to the passage of the verse I previously clicked on in notes instead of the original passage I was reading. Please help.

Handy for those who love to read study bible anywhere. June 2026 So I downgraded the version to 2020 because the update of 2026 ruined the list of commentaries throughout the chapter.

THIS IS NOT A STUDY BIBLE - UNLESS YOU PURCHASE THE STUDY PART OF IT. "The Study Bible" app is just another Bible unless you want to purchase the part that makes it a study Bible. I don't know how much it is, but you would have to purchase John MacArthur's study notes in order to complete this Study Bible.

Ok so now they have totally messed up highlighting so that if you try to highlight any verses (especially if you use a darker background) the highlighted text is practically unreadable. Totally rendering this feature as useless. Please fix as this is a much used feature of this otherwise ok Bible App

Good The strength of the app is the study notes - but with the most recent app update - the notes are very cumbersome to access. Even the introductory notes for each book are mostly hidden or no longer available. I started to look for another Bible app. Major step backwards - big mystery why it changed. Another bug is selecting a chapter - select a chapter number and the screen is repopulated with chapter numbers twice - together with chapter numbers that don't exist. Yikes.
