This is an encouragement Best among other news & magazine app for android tablet. But lacking some basic features such as font size and portrait view for all pages. Downloading contents could be a pain. Have to do one by one and very easily to be interrupted. After all, a step in the right direction. But needs a lot polishing. If there is no update in the next 30 days, sorry, unsubscribe and uninstall.

why cant you downl;oad the whole papaer I would like to download the whole paper on WiFi and read at my leisure away from the signal but cant do very painful. You can do it the ipad but not android. so only a three star rating for now Update Wrote this months ago and still no change why cant you download several sections at a time its seems such an easy change We don't have wifi all though the house and where I want to sit and read is not where I get wifi now 1 star, app deleted, subscription cancelled - The Telegraph is free

Flakey and pricey The Sunday Times app is, in reality NOT free as digital subscribers have to pay for their subscription, which is in addition to a paper subscription! For this, subscribers get an app that freezes frequently, takes ages to download ( only one section at a time), then requires each section to be installed. Then the resulting section cannot be viewed in a choice of portrait or landscape, cannot be used in pinch & zoom, cannot have its font changed in type or size, cannot be scrolled properly ( only page at a time, not line or word or letter at a time). Compare this app with the ease of use of similar apps such as Kindle for android and the ST app comes out very much wanting

Update is missed opportunity I stuck with this app for the past few months in the hope that an update would smooth out the clunkiness and resolve long standing bugs. Not so. Once again News international has put all the resource into the ipad platform, leaving Android the poor cousin. Last week there was no Ingear section, any explanation, no, but plenty of apologies for ipad users unable to download all issues at once. This week click on the update in the main news banner to be taken to iTunes, not android market, very poor. Click on the help icon, E-mail us anytime to be told no internet connection, rubbish since it connected to the web help page in the first place! Gadget of the week, ingear section, font size unreadable for months. I could go on but will probably just cancel subscription. Pity since I've been a Sunday times reader for 20+ years.
