★★★★★ William Nadeau · Nov 16, 2024

All I can say is wow! I've been jumping around a lot of clients since I joined Lemmy, but I tried the most recent pre-release on GitHub, and this app is great! So much customization and it looks great! Looking forward to updates

Thunder for Lemmy is the best Lemmy client out there! It offers multi-account support and full customization, making it both powerful and intuitive. Highly recommended!

★★★★★ Duncan Speel · Sep 6, 2023

Hands down one of the best apps for lemmy I've used so far. By far my favorite feature is the gestures. Now let me set the record straight by saying I am not by any means someone who uses gestures, but the gestures in Thunder are spot on. Never more have I enjoyed so seamlessly up voting and down voting Posts with as much ease as swiping to delete an email. Not to mention the clean ui. If you haven't already I strongly suggest you give this app a try.

No way to disable animations means no way to disable the nauseating over scroll effect, which means I can't use this app.

★★☆☆☆ Colin Webster · Feb 28, 2024

I can't add an account, as the input area is bugged and adds random gibberish whenever I try and type.

★★☆☆☆ Kathleen Adelsberger · Dec 15, 2023

Ouch, I was enjoying this but just updated the app and all of my subscriptions, blocked communities are gone. My "saved" posts (I had none) are filled with pages and pages of random things I've never viewed.

★★☆☆☆ Lazy Dog · Apr 4, 2025

Awful settings menus. Filter settings don't even work, no matter how many times I change it from local to all it only displays local when I go to feeds
