Your uncle left you a small cutter, 1,500 silver and a debt of 5,000. His fleet lies at the bottom of the sea, sunk by the pirates of the Black Gull.

Trade your way out. Buy coffee where it is cheap, sail it to the port that pays more, and watch the silver come in. Every voyage costs weeks, every week adds interest, and every crate you sell moves the price. There is never one right answer.
