Description
A calm, offline diary for tinnitus. Log a spike when it happens, tag what might have set it off, and hand your audiologist or GP a clear report instead of trying to remember it all in a ten-minute appointment.
Whether you call it tinnitus or ringing in the ears, this is a symptom tracker for people who want a record — not another app playing sounds at you. TinnitusLog is a diary, not a treatment. There is no masking, no sound therapy and no claim to reduce your tinnitus.
WHAT IT DOES
• Log a spike in a few taps — loudness, annoyance, pitch, which ear, and how long it lasted • Spot possible triggers by tagging from a ready-made library (caffeine, alcohol, salt, poor sleep, stress, loud noise, headphones, jaw and neck tension, congestion, medication) or add your own • Note medications as plain labels, for your own reference and your clinician's • Optional weekly check-in for sleep, stress, noise exposure and hearing protection — off by default, and never nagged • Calendar and timeline history, filterable by ear and pitch • See patterns in what you logged: spikes per week, most-tagged triggers, pitch breakdown, and gentle observations comparing loudness with sleep and noise • Export a clean PDF report to take to an audiology appointment, an ENT appointment or your GP • CSV and JSON export so your data stays yours • Works completely offline — entries stay on your phone
TRACK FOR A SEASON, THEN GET ON WITH LIFE
Habituation guidance often points away from constant self-monitoring, so this symptom tracker is built for a short season of use rather than a forever habit. You log a spike when one happens, there is no daily entry to keep up with, and there are no streaks or scores. After a few weeks the app itself suggests you pause daily logging — your history stays here whenever you need it again.
WHO IT'S FOR
• Anyone preparing for an audiology appointment, an ENT appointment or a GP visit who wants real data rather than recollection • People working out whether caffeine, sleep, stress or noise exposure line up with their louder days • Anyone who wants a private, offline record of how their tinnitus has changed
