Pretty good - on a car with 35 it read 36 and then 39. Car with 20 read 23 and 26. Like someone mentioned, you have to understand how to use it. On the s22+ the light sensor is behind the screen - so phone screen to window when taking measurement.
★★★★★
Very accurate considering it's using the ambient light sensor to calculate VLT. Read my 20% as 16% and 35% as 30% and was very repeatable. Considering most car windows come from factory with some solar tint, that's pretty close!

Tried it on a Galaxy S10 Plus and it was very accurate. My windows tint is 35% and the app showed between 32-36%. I performed the test from inside the car with the doors closed with the car both outside and inside my garage. Make sure you keep your phone at the same distance and angle for both tests (windows down and up).
★★☆☆☆
The app never worked and always said 0% (darkest tint) when used on factory 70% and 20% windows.
★★☆☆☆
Not accurate at all. Tested on my front window with only factory tint (70% min), to which this app said had 16% VLT
★★☆☆☆
Great idea, but did not work for me on Pixel 6 with Android 14. (Pixel 6 is listed as a compatible device.) All of my measurements result in 0% VLT. As a test, I tried the measurement process in ambient light without any glass. This should result in 100% VLT, but I still got 0%.
