I know the Japanese version is excellent. I would however like a TODAY: Learn Catalan by news, preferably with the Central Catalan dialect, but an option for all dialects would be nice. Either an app all its own, or under this Spanish one, as Catalan is in Spain. Definitely would give 5* for them. Thank you.

I hope the developers will be able to repair the issues in this app, but for now, I'm uninstalling it. I did report the issues I was having, but they aren't fixed yet, and it makes the app unusable. I have the free version, so I can only open a few articles each day. Unfortunately, all but one of the articles was actually IN ENGLISH, not Spanish. There is no way to report the English articles. So I got to read one tiny article in my target language and now can't open anymore.

The text to speech converter does not recognize accented letters and merely misses them out. Thus, España is read as "ESAA", años as "aos", está as "est" etc. meaning that the whole thing is plagued with mistakes, making it worse than useless to learn from. This app must have been thrown together and never tested!
