TOFU Learn

★★★★★ This is an amazing app, I cannot believe it is free. It has basically everything and more I have ever been looking for. I mainly use it to learn and practice writing chinese characters. It has a very nice SRS system, the ability to create your own decks (though there are already many available e.g. all the HSK 1–6 decks in both simplified and traditional!) and an inbuilt dictionary. The dictionary is one of my favorite CN dictionaries as well, I especially appreciate that it shows how frequent a character/word is used and more importantly: the etymology of the character. It helps immensely with the understanding of the character. If there's anything I would wish was available, it'd be an option where you can choose to grade on your own how well you wrote the character instead of it being done automatically; it isn't always very accurate. But all in all, I am more than satisfied with it. <3 I've been using it for almost a year now, and I decided to upgrade my account to pro, just to support the developers. It has been quite a while since the last update; I sure hope that its development hasn't halted, that'd be a real shame.

★★★★★ I like this more than skitter. I now practice even more writing 汉字 in paper after learning the stroke order from this app. The system this app functions is similar to Anki, spaced repetition system (SRS). The decks are made by fellow users in the community. Not only you can learn mandarin 汉字 here, but you can also learn other scripts of other languages like Japanese, Korean, Cyrillic scripts etc. This app deserves more recognition out there. Keep it up! 加油！

★★☆☆☆ One of the best apps for what it does, but it seems to be abandoned and quite frequently goes offline and doesn't work. You should look for alternatives.

★★☆☆☆ Suddenly can't connect to server, even though I have internet and every other app is working just fine ...

★★☆☆☆ I am learning Chinese and I like this app coz overall it's free, and premium membership is very cheap, also I found the book I study at school. But I found many issues, for example I accidentally select "auto learn selected" and now I cannot learn them again the same way as others. Did I miss something? I purchased the premium membership, but I don't get the audio.
