Nice app for using with the actual Tonal. Machine makes it easy to do workouts at home quick. I only use custom workouts now.

Great workout equipment and training programs! I appreciate the low impact alternates, but I would suggest that alternates be given for all things weighted knee bending. For those dealing with (Bi lateral) Patella Chondromalacia or (arthritis) of the knees. All the lower body exercises require weighted (whether external or body) squats/knee bending. Please consider alternates or programs that provide the same benefit for persons with this issue as those catered to persons without. Thank you!

*Deaf customer* Personally I severely dislike Tonal. Being Deaf I can't hear a thing any of them say when trying to use the machine and there are no close captions, despite complaints and requests that they be added. There is little to no feedback while using the machine which is a major aspect for Deaf and the lack is distracting and interrupts workout. When communicating with Tonal about the possibility of returning the system I was told no, and I was stuck with it. Don't bother with if Deaf.

It’s a solid app, but the watch interface only works with Apple, and heart rate isn’t used for smart weight adjustments. Tonal once led the pack with innovation, but updates now feel safe and predictable. Competitors are pushing ahead. I’d love to see Tonal bring back the bold ideas that set it apart and surprise users with features they didn’t even know they needed.

Horrible company. I bought my Tonal for enjoyment and turned into my worst nightmare. My Tonal came with manufacturing issues in the right arm. They replaced the brand new one (40 days after purchased), paid $4k, with a refurbished one with problems as well. I am still waiting for them to fix the refurbished unit. 2 months waiting. You paid a brand new one, and you ended up with a refurbished unit. Think twice in your investment. Be aware that the customer service is rude and really bad.

Android support lags. Please add: 1. Heart-rate capture from Wear OS/Pixel Watch during Tonal workouts, with HR graph + avg/max + zones in the summary. 2. Health Connect write support (exercise type, duration, sets/reps/weight, calories, HR) so sessions sync to Google Fit/Fitbit. This would also let Gemini Coach factor my Tonal workouts into plans. Device: Pixel 9 Pro + Pixel Watch 4
