How Tong Works

Check-In At a Location: Whether you're at a gym, out on a run, or just visiting a cafe, check in to let others know you're there. Different activity categories lets you announce exactly what type of active buddy you are looking for.

Enter the Virtual Lobby: After checking in, you enter a virtual lobby where other solo individuals are waiting for a match. You’ll be able to see who’s here for what and choose to match with the ones you like.

Send Pair Requests: Once you’re in the lobby, you can browse through available users and send pair requests to others who seem like a good match. Whether you’re looking for a fitness connection, a trivia partner, or just someone to join you at an event, you’ll be able to find your perfect activity buddy.

Enjoy Virtual Chatroom: You can also enter a virtual chatroom dedicated to that place and hang out there with others around you. Pretty cool, huh?

Stay Connected: Once you’ve made a match, you can continue chatting or planning your next meet-up through the app’s built-in communication features. This makes it easy to keep in touch with the people you meet.
