Top Party

Top Party is an offline-first rope-pitch check for gym climbers, outdoor top-rope partners, belay instructors, and climbing-gym staff who must lock real pitch height against rope length—with knot and stretch allowance—before anyone ties in. Cold start opens a fullscreen rope-pitch card, not a takeoff list and not a logbook. Enter pitch height and rope length, then see a vertical pitch bar versus a rope bar with a live slack or shortfall readout. The knot allowance block sums tie-in tail, stopper, belay-end figure-eight, and optional backup, then subtracts that total from usable rope. A dynamic stretch factor slider (percent) adjusts usable length for real rope give under body weight. Get an instant LONG ENOUGH, MARGINAL, or SHORT verdict with color state and remaining usable meters after knots and stretch. Rope inventory chips cover common single ropes (30/40/50/60/70 m) plus custom lengths you save. Build a gym or crag pitch library with name, height, wall or sector tag, and notes; edit and reopen any saved card on the same pitch surface. A seed pack of typical indoor wall heights and sample outdoor top-rope pitches makes first launch immediately usable. Toggle meters or feet with consistent conversion on the card, library, and verdict. A non-blocking safety checklist strip covers partner check, rope end on ground, and knot dress. Copy a plain-text length summary (height, rope, knots, stretch, verdict) to the clipboard—no network required. One glanceable card turns wall height, rope meters, knots, and stretch into a pass/fail length check you can trust at the base of the climb.
