Takeoff List Estimator

Takeoff List is an offline-first plumber material takeoff estimator built for residential and light-commercial jobs. On site, walk room by room, tap fitting chips, set size and material, apply waste once, and leave with a rolled cut and buy list so the truck is stocked in one trip—not another generic notes app. BUILT FOR THE JOBSITE Create jobs with address, system type (supply, DWV, or gas), and quick reopen from an active/archived job board with last-opened timestamps. Add rooms—kitchen, bath, laundry, mechanical, crawl—and switch between them without leaving the chip pad. FITTING-CHIP TAKEOFF Use a fullscreen pad of large tappable chips: 90°, 45°, coupling, tee, wye, reducer, trap, supply stop, union, adapter, and more. Each tap increments count with haptic feedback. After a tap, pick nominal size (½–2 in and metric equivalents) and material (copper, PEX, PVC, CPVC, black iron). Long-press any chip to multi-add with a quantity stepper. WASTE, ROLL-UP, AND EXPORT Set a job-level waste % slider that inflates buy quantities without rewriting room counts. The rolled cut/buy list aggregates identical fitting + size + material lines across every room, applies waste, and shows cut lengths versus buy units. Start from a seed catalog of common residential fittings and editable defaults (for example copper sweat 8%, PEX 5%, PVC DWV 10%). Share plain-text or CSV buy lists via the clipboard or system share sheet for the supplier counter. OFFLINE AND AT-A-GLANCE Jobs, rooms, line items, and catalog stay on device for true offline use. Preferences cover chip layout density, default material, and waste defaults. An optional home-screen widget shows the active job name and remaining unchecked buy lines for truck loading. Tap chips room by room. Walk out with a supplier-ready BOM you can reopen on the next visit.
