It's a really good replacement for the paper edition. It's an electronic replica of the actual newspaper with the ability to continue reading articles continued on inside pages and the ability to get back to the page you were on. It's great.

Excellent. Reads much better on a tablet than on the unwieldy paper print. No folding or turning large pages. Just flick your finger back and forth. No requirement for light weather by day, by night, or No light. No need for reading glasses, just use the zoom in and out feature of tablet. I'm using Galaxy S2. Even better, you can keep up to 60 issues on your device to read stuff that you've missed. I would give it a 5 star if I could save the e-paper to a PDF file.

'The Star' app worked so much better, this one is a pain, and I'd rather just have a paper version at this point. Scrolling through stories just brings up the first paragraph then you have to download the paper then re search for the article it's annoying and time-consuming. I would say discontinuing the star app was a mistake. This one sucks.

Dropping stars because issues are sometimes unreadable (Continue Reading is too granular and Redownload paper is broken. "Support" is no help. Yes I'm on the latest update. No, reinstalling does not help. Just escalate to someone with a clue already. Whrn it does work, the Star's paper is an excellent reader. The best. When it doesn't, it's frustrating, and you will not get the help you need to resolve it.

It's irrational to sell a subscription that doesn't allow access to the digital paper unless you also receive the hard copy. Why tie subscribers to hard copy at all?
