I have been using this for over 2 years. It's great! Barely ever have a problem. I back up my pictures with Google and take a screenshot of the sketch when I finish just as an extra precaution. It saves me so much time on the road! Takes a bit of a learning curve. But so worth it!

20 Year Ala mode customer using Ala mode Mobile Inspection technology for nearly 20 years. Total for Mobile is a workhorse. It's extremely rare to have issues with Total for Mobile. I've never experienced data loss. I really like having all of my work files stored within Total for Mobile, so I have immediate access, even during times with no internet access. I would like to see some minor improvements in some areas such as photos and storage. I've been mobile appraising since the PDA. *****

You will incur data loss. No doubt about it; just a matter of time. Tech support will have no solution. At least, none that work. Is it better than its competition? Yes. That should tell you what you need to know about the competition. This is better; not good. Peers that I've spoken to, they don't use the app to take pictures. But, this tech is supposed to be about doing more, with less. Fewer tools. This app is driving me back to a clip board because I literally, never lost a photo using a digital camera. I have watched this app accepts my input for taking a picture, Green check. Okay. Happy days? No. Blank photo spot. At least, with a clip board, I don't have to call borrowers for another trip/entry to the property. I don't understand how the claim can be made that this app saves you X amount of time, during an inspection, when it constantly drops pictures. Sketching? Double check everything you draw. Update: 08/29/2021: Just encountered an interesting, data transfer issue, between field inspections. A photo from a field report five days older than the report I'm typing today, shows up in random order, within the other report's field picture pages. How? How can a week-old photo just, migrate itself into another field inspection? Why do so many pictures go missing in this software? Why is it so expensive for software that simply falls short in every category except floor covering and utilities? Comical. But, not funny. Stick with your clip board. It's hard to make plywood and paper double cross you, in the field.

Used this seriously for less than a month. Just had a catastrophic disappearance of entire files from inspection on two properties for no apparent reason. I saved them but didn't upload them. 2 days later all files are gone in Total except cloud files and those cloud files are transfection. What kind of inspection software automatically deletes your saved inspection sketch and notes after 2 days for no apparent reason and without them even being available in the deleted section!? Beware!
