Description
TouchOSC is an OSC and MIDI control surface. It can send and receive Open Sound Control messages over a Wi-Fi network using the UDP protocol and can send and receive MIDI messages using the free TouchOSC Bridge application.
The application allows to remote control and receive feedback from software and hardware that implements the OSC or MIDI protocols such as Renoise, Pure Data, Max/MSP/Jitter, Max for Live, OSCulator, VDMX, Resolume Avenue 3, Modul8, Plogue Bidule, Reaktor, Quartz Composer, Supercollider, FAW Circle, vvvv, Derivative TouchDesigner, Isadora and others.
The interface provides a number of different touch controls to send/receive messages: Faders / Rotary controls / Push buttons / Toggle buttons / XY pads / Multi-faders / Multi-toggles / LEDs
Additionally the program can send Accelerometer data. The application comes with five layouts that are organized in multiple pages.

Amazing midi controller I really enjoy using this app. I have it paired with my midi keyboard and Mulab. The ability to control with my tablet is so much fun! One thing I would like Hexler to add is the custom layouts. I know that you can do it on IOS but i would like to be able to do it on anrdoid.

CUSTOM LAYOUTS FOR ANDROID?? - BUY OSCPAD It seems fairly obvious now (5 months since an update) that Hexler either has no desire to program for android, or he's worked a deal with apple to intentionally keep touchosc for ipad ahead of the game. Do yourself a favour - forget this app and go and support a real android developer - OSCPAD costs less than two pounds and offers custom layouts for ANDROID.

No custom layouts for Android Why even bother? If you can't customize the layouts, it's mostly useless. Even if you hack it, you can't use labels or multi-push items.
