Towness - Online Grocery

★★★★★ Its so good to buy products from towness and very happy with there offers. They have the best customers service ever and the products are very good.

★★★★★ absolutely fantastic experience. i don't like ordering online for groceries for the quantum of waste they produce in every single item. i tried this for the first time. i was expecting my delivery in the morning but to my pleasant surprise, the product was long delivered in the morning without any annoyance. Everything was packaged in glass bottles, cloth bag made from waste cloth or old newspaper. they take the bottles and cloth bags back and refund cash. great produce that's cheap & green.

★★☆☆☆ Service is deteriorated exponentially during past 3 years. (1) Their delivery is from 4am - noon. BUt they hardly deliver before noon. (2) They never provide contact info of the delivery person. So there is no way to know if/when delivery is going to happen (3) When you try to contact the main office and numbers listed under "contacts" on their website, no one every picks up. Never respond on WhatsApp. (4) Their billing is fishy. They hide packaging costs (about 0.5%) under "refundable" packaging but these are normal brown packts or plastic ones. Their delivery perosn does not accept those for refunds anyways. Bill structure is confusing - difficult to know costs of undelivered items etc (5) Each time 20-30 % of the items ordered are not delivered as they go out of stock every time! I don't understand how come they are not able to update quantities online so that items we order do not go out of stock. (6) They always keep about 100-200 INR of yours with themselves in form of "your wallet" on their website! So count interest - liquid funds - ! They shoud simply return the money if items are undelivered. But they do not. (7) Giving 2 stars because some of the items: leafy veg used to be fresher than BigBasket and they show rating of their items on scale of 10.

★★☆☆☆ Towness has turned off their customer service numbers and does not respond on WhatsApp or email. Had an order delayed. It used to be a great service, now dreadful.

★★☆☆☆ Please note i have filed a police' complaint with commissioner office for taking money and defrauding people by not delivering products.... keeping their app open and taking money. Even though email and phone numbers are defunct
