Tried this for a week and impressed so far. Would give 5* rating if you could sort scanned items into alphabetical order or put food items into their categories ie ready meals, fish, cheese products etc. Also, unable to move a product from one tab (ie hygiene) into food if accidentally put in wrong tab - you have to delete and then scan again in the right tab. Other than that, an impressive app and I will continue to use daily to check what's healthy to eat and what's not recommended.

Good concept, but the risk ratings need to be more scientifically accurate. Please consider concentration, exposure route, and actual dosage instead of just labeling an ingredient as “high risk.” Also improve OCR accuracy and show the scientific source/reason behind each rating. That would make Toxly much more trustworthy.

False results. It highlighted an ingredient as a high risk and marked a roll on as unsafe. But when I checked online it was marked as highly safe when not ingested. I found this inconsistency for other products as well. I wouldn't recommend this app to anyone.

Misleading because some of the wash off products have titanium dioxide, but its approved and safe for a wash of products. So the app can't understand its wash off product or not. So it's misleading without proper information. Need improvement.

Is rather misleading. The app is free to download, however you only get a few scans before you have to purchase unlimited scans.

Using this app for fact's and real ingredients but always shows false details for all products using barcode scanned items

This app is misleading. It labels many well-established cosmetic ingredients like glycerin, citric acid, allantoic, and PEG compounds as "hazardous" without considering concentration, formulation, or real-world exposure. It seems to confuse hazard with actual risk, causing unnecessary fear. Please use evidence-based cosmetic safety data and provide scientific references instead of alarming ratings.
