The past years I was mostly a weekend jogger. Several times, I tried to build up my fitness, but just as often I failed because I got hurt by building up too fast or couldn't find the motivation. The Trenara schedule is personalized based on your training history, a fitness test and your desired goal. The workouts are very varied and the schedule constantly adapts, e.g. if you want to reschedule or miss a workout. Each workout, the trainer gives you motivating feedback. A great personal touch !

I trained for 2 marathons with a personal professional coach, and now for my last marathon I trained with Trenara, and I was able to go 14 minutes under my PR so... I believe in this program! Combine the app with the Trenara Community on Facebook, it is nice to ask people tips and advice, that makes a difference in your training. Also, the developers of Trenara are responding on topics, which is handy when you have a technical app-related question. Good job Trenara, you have gold in your hands.

The app works well but the paid subscription is essential and expensive compared to for example Strata which is a much more feature rich application costing 76eur per year while peak pro on Trenara is 120 per year. It'd be awesome if you could make the training which is exported to garmin workouts adjustable in the sense that the min and max for each section of the run is further apart. For example, now when you have to do 6:24, it's set in garmin as 6:21-6:31. That's hard to stay between.

I ran my first half-marathon last year thanks to Trenara. The pace on training sometimes seems questionably slow, but it does work. I 100% trust my training schedule. I highly recommend the app to everyone who tells me they want to start running. Just pick a distance and trust that Trenara will get you there.

Not functional yet - tried to import my strata activity but nothing came through. Tried to set up a half-marathon training plan, it said there were not that matched. Wasn't able to achieve what I was hoping to.

Wouldn't let me make a goal as it said no scheme was found. Even if it did, I don't have a set schedule with work so settings specific weekdays to train wouldn't work for me. Also, I don't see a delete account button. Edit: the reset initial values comes up what looks like Dutch in the English version

After the new update I tried again. Genera insists that I train on days that I don't want and won't let me change. It's normal to look at various options before choosing one, I wasn't warned that I can only change 4 times in a month. So I end up not being able to change anything. I won't try again.

Not user-friendly at all. Very restrictive unless you pay. Why would you pay when basic experience is so poor? Contacted support but had no reply not even a courtesy auto-reply to give an indication of how long a reply may take. Could be a great app but is only a very frustrating one as it stands.

Pretty awful. Didn't get past signup - asks for 'length' whatever that is, and you need to make hundreds of clicks (12 clicks per year) on the date calendar picker to go set your birthday - 120 clicks to go back 10 years!! - why not allow users to enter the date as plain text in dd/mm/yy form? Gave up at that point as its mandatory info.
