★★★★★ Trials of the Thief-taker is a fun and immersive game. From the vocabulary, characters, and currency everything makes the time era feel alive. While the choices can be vague and the romance options are hard to find, the ending was worth it. It's a tough game, but it's lots of fun and a perfect way to spend the evening.

★★★★★ I really liked how immersive this was but at times felt like it fell a bit short. I think if it were a bit longer I would have left it more satisfied. That said, my overall impression was favorable.

★★★★★ An outstanding CYOA story. Trials of the Thief-Taker offers a fascinating lesson in history; I never knew that bounty hunting predated policing in the modern era. As a bounty hunter in 18th century England, you will be exposed to the seedy underbelly of the "justice" that was prevalent at the time. Many difficult decisions will have to be made on your part, as you grope for your sense of morality. A fun read filled with your failures and successes, but being a bounty hunter was never easy...

★★☆☆☆ I have seen a good deal of CYOA games . And I am tired of saying this: do not install this. Or for that matter any of this companies stuff truth is they do not care about our views as proof check ALL the review have any one of them been answered? You may think that it's fair . Ok I won't oppose ,fine this is a stupid pay game . But they could at least EXPLAIN this proves they have enPugh money . They are just greedy . I will drop the last line to show that this story is a knock -off . -the player

★★☆☆☆ Three chapters, then demands payment to continue. At least they tell you that up front, but they don't tell you the chapters are short. Intro implies promise to explain new words; they don't, unless you count context clues. Not recommended. Plenty of others to try.

★★☆☆☆ How the heck can you get a positive ending! I played to my characters different strengths every time and every time it completely fell apart.
