I've been a loyalist since 2020. I would recommend this app for fishermen who are serious trollers. Pay attention to the list of lures in the app before you purchase so that you are not caught off guard. I gave it four stars because I recommend that the owner improve his glossary of terms and directions, so future users learn how to interpret the results correctly. IMHO, better than Precision Trolling. PT shows much more line out for the same lure and line weight. Don't know why that is.

I recently got into lead core fishing and had gone out 3 times with no luck. I was just counting colors to estimate depth. I then downloaded the precision trolling app and on my 4th time out I landed 4 lake trout to include a gorgeous 28" fish. Just this morning was worth the $38 I spent on the app. The amount of data points these guys collected is insane and extremely impressive. If trolling is a style of fishing you do, you will not regret buying this app.

This is not a good app. You enter a depth you want your plug (rapala, bandit, ect.) to run. Then you enter a couple of variables, and then it tells you how much line to put out. Except it doesn't change with speed! At all! And the calculations are of from my experience! Telling me to put out 14' of line to pull a shallow flicker shad 6' deep at any speed!

Shallow shad rap 7...10lbs braid...target depth 3 ft = 3 ft of line out? No...not in real life. Not even close. Some lures it seems correct but others like the example above are way off. Think I'll stick with the precision trolling apo

I do not need 432+ feet of line out for this lure to hit 15 feet deep!!! Flicker shad 7 on 10 pound monofilament 😡.
