Since Dungeon Raid seems to have vanished, this game was a nice surprise to stumble into. The Gameplay of the original is preserved, which I appreciate very much. However, I find the graphics inconsistent in style and quality. The original had no character portraits in game, and the monster tiles were abstract symbols. I felt that served the original game well, as it left room for the imagination and allowed a greater focus on appealing (albeit static) symbols. Still a great game. Great work!

I'm so glad I got nostalgic and googled "Dungeon Raid" and found this spiritual successor. I've only just started playing around with it, but it's a blast from the past, and it honestly made my entire night to find this game exists. Thank you very much, for making this!

The game has horrible balance. Enemies scale way too quickly and the player needs to get lucky enough to get multiple damage upgrades to survive. But if you keep taking damage upgrades you start having problems with leveling up due to the lack of xp/coin upgrades. You level up slower and slower and at a certain point, you start falling behind in upgrades and die. Is it a Dungeon Raid alternative? Yes. Is it a good one? Absolutely not.

Saw the video, this game looked really fun. Went to try it out and it doesn't work. Died repeatedly as collecting the swords didn't actually kill any of the mobs. It showed the animation of them being attacked, and they never took damage. I can clearly see I was collecting 3 swords doing about 12 points of damage. Each patrol had 4 and 0 armor, yet not a single one died. Over and over the board will fill up with patrol, and I could no longer do anything and died. Sorry but this game. Does not work.

Complete mess of bad RNG that punishes you for playing by unlocking harder enemies. The best experience is not to play. Also, a rude dev that I would discourage people from giving money to, as they like to leave rude comments for community members and harass them.
